I’m excited to present Music Is, my new instructional video series on how to write music. While focusing primarily on jazz composition, these lessons incorporate elements of folk music and classical theory as well. Each video includes listening samples, helpful demonstrations, scores and homework assignments.
The course is intended for instrumentalists or vocalists who have a working understanding of their instrument and want to learn to write their own music. Basic music theory and some keyboard skills are also recommended.
